Majestic are one of the leading motorhome suppliers and their finish is higher than the bulk standard coach build. The van as you are aware is based on the Elldiss 255 with the fixed double bed at the rear. The chassis is the Peugeot Boxer with a 2.2Ltr diesel engine producing 150 BPH. Offering economy of 25+ per gallon, better on a run. It weighs less than 3.5 ton so younger drivers qualify to drive.
The van has the added bonus of 4 belted seats with the clever pilot seats under the sofas at the front (as demonstrated to you). I am quiet a big lad and the separate shower is more than adequate, no getting the toilet seat wet whilst having a shower.
Built in clean and dirty water tanks allows for storage whilst travelling should you be looking to be self sufficient if off grid. The solar panel fitted to the roof also helps with any off grid situation and keeps the batteries charged even when sitting on the drive.. The van is fitted with extra large leisure batteries which are located under the rear bed.
The kitchen area is more than adequate with three gas rings and one electric hob. Also a grill and small oven. In addition there is a small microwave above the hob. A real added benefit is the large fridge/freezer, almost twice the size of the average van fridge. The fridge will run on electric and gas as with the hob and oven.
The water pump (new) producing really good hot can also be managed on electric or gas as well as the central heating. (Heating system has recently been drained, serviced and new fluid added) The van can get really cosy when the heating is on. A new habitation certificate was issued around November for the year. (Certificate with paperwork)
Sleeping on the memory foam mattress is pretty comfy and we have used the sofas as single beds with the grand kids. Although you could probably get three kids side by side when the sofas are converted into a double.
When the weather is warm there is plenty of ventilation from the three skylights all of which are fitted with retractable blackout blinds and fly blinds which can be used independently. There is also a roof extractor fan in the kitchen area. There are numerous storage cupboards and a large area under the bed suitable for camping chairs etc.
The van is equipped with an electric plug in and also a Gas Low system. The gas low means you are carrying two fixed bottles which can be filled at a petrol station. There is also a 240/12-volt plug on the outside of the van (adjacent to water input) handy for outside lighting if required. The external wind-out awning extends about 3 meters and has a porch light to assist above the door.
With the van comes an All Weather Air awning with an additional bedroom pod. It also has a purpose made to measure ground sheet and roof lining which adds to the comfort of staying somewhere for a few days. The bedroom pod is a double and the main awning is 4m wide and 3m deep.
Other additions are the Digital dish fitted on the roof, the(x2) bike rack and the tow bar with electrics
